Rauriser natural stone – marble and quartzite from Austria – for over 50 years
When it comes to marble, most people think of Italy. But in the state of Salzburg, Austria, high quality marble and quartzite has been mined for over 50 years. More than 50 years ago, the commercial mining and trading of split-rough quartzite laid the foundation of today’s family-owned company Rauriser Natursteinzentrum. Today, a total of 50,000 tons of high-quality marble and quartzite are mined, processed and sold from their two company-owned quarries. The customers of the semi-finished and final products are mainly in Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
